We currently have 8 Tibetan Mastiffs that we have carefully selected to be a part of our family and our breeding program.
Our Tibetan Mastiffs are not “kennel dogs”. They all take turns being inside the house with us for “mom and pop” time.
When not with us, they spend time in their own carefully designed complex of 2 buildings with doggy doors leading to 5 fenced yards.
We do not house our dogs in kennels or small pens like many breeders do.
We have 2 barns and 5 yards so that we can separate dogs as necessary, or bring in a rescue for fostering.
Our housing for the dogs are not just kennel runs or small pens, but actual yards where the dogs can run, jump, dig, and play.
We rotate dogs between the yards, with no more than 2 or 3 dogs in a yard at any given time.
Our kennel barns are heated/cooled; the barn photos were taken on an early spring morning when the weather was ideal, so doors are open,
but we keep the heat and air in the barns at a dog comfort temperature year-round.
Our dogs have access to the inside and outside, with the freedom to come and go as they please,
at all times, through doggy doors that lead from the barn to the yards.
We have gone to great lengths to ensure their comfort and safety.
The fencing is 6-foot high no climb farm fencing with wooden top and bottom rails for added strength. We also have wire buried under the
ground all the way around the perimeter of each yard and cement under the gates to prevent digging out.
If you are thinking about getting a TM, please consider whether you have a secure yard for them to run and play,
or whether you are willing to invest the money to add these things to your property.
We believe no dog should spend its life chained, kenneled, or penned, and we do not support that method of breeding or dog ownership.
We do not place puppies in homes without a fenced yard.
Before you purchase a puppy, please visit the breeder and see for yourself what their set-up is like. It will tell you a lot about how they value their dogs.
